The house of the future.

This is what you need to create, if you’re down to renovating your home. You don’t want to look back and copy what people did 10 or 20 years ago, do you? The future is coming, it is yours, and it will be great to create it today in your home.

So, what does a home interior of the future look like?

You can take a deep breathe and relax, you won’t have to pack your home with robots and the latest gadgets. Your home will still be comfortable and cozy, but in a different way.

The first thing that a home of future must have is space. A lot of space. Throw away those huge closets, heavy-looking tables and old-fashioned beds. You are not going to need them all in future. The home of the future must look wide, air must circle freely in it, and you must fly, not walk around constrained and trying to avoid furniture. There should be a lot of light and air. The colors in it are light and calm, they should create a peaceful atmosphere.

Next, every item in the home of future has a strange and unique shape, there are no ordinary objects. The theme of nature will be very popular in the future.

But let’s go step by step. Let’s start with an empty room, which is going to be our home of the future. There is nothing in it, only plain walls and windows.

What color should the walls be? I suggest you to use white as the basic color in your room. Then you will tone it up by using two or three different colors. One wall in the room should have prints on it, as they are getting popular now, and will be more popular in future. Use some images of nature, like trees, flowers and birds. But you don’t want your wall to look like a scene from a zoo, do you? The wall should have one color, black, blue, or maybe green.

The wider the windows are, the better. And use plain solid-colored curtains. Choose a one-colored curtain with a single print on it, something that will work with the prints on your wall and will look great.

Next, the most responsible step is to choose furniture. Do research and see what modern designers offer. You can find many interesting decisions, like beds without legs, which look like flying, minimalistic chairs and light tables, which seem fragile and light, but in fact are solid.

When choosing furniture don’t forget that what you decide on must have incredible shapes, be light and create a feeling of space.

And last, don’t pack your home with unnecessary things. Buy a few pieces of basic furniture and stop there. You won’t need all that clutter in the future. The home of the future belongs to you, it is designed to make you feel comfortable and calm.
