Like plants human beings need water. Water is the most essential component of our organism. The problem is in “hard” water and the solution is in “water softener.” Water, be it groundwater or surface water, is in contact with the environment: it contains a number of minerals and contaminants. Some minerals deserve special attention as they have their impact on the quality of water we use.

We call water “hard” when it is rich in minerals, these being mostly calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium contribute to formation of lime scale in pipes, which hinders the flow of water and advances the excessive use of energy. Water softener helps to remove these unnecessary elements. It removes dirt and replaces magnesium and calcium with sodium, thus your domestic appliances will last longer. Soap and other detergents dissolve with difficulty in hard water, thus they are ineffective. Water softener improves the quality of water making it pleasant for your skin and your clothes. While choosing it consider the hardness of water.
