Are you decorating your room and want something extraordinary and inventive? Then you should consider my suggestions concerning your rug choice.
If you have ever been to an Asian house, you have probably noticed that rugs are the main decorators in their home interiors. Persian rugs are very popular among Asian people. They illustrate Persian culture and are full of bright and warm colors.
Before acquiring a Persian rug for decorating your room, I think you should learn a little bit about them.
A Persian rug is a very important element in Persian culture and art. Persian people have been weaving carpets since 500 BC. It has, of course, undergone many changes since then, including materials, sizes and styles. But it hasn’t an ounce lost its function and importance in Persian culture.
Generally there are three main types of Persian rugs: Farsh (’Qlii’), Qlicheh and Kilim. Farshes are carpets that are more than 6×4 feet in size. Qlicheh are all small-sized rugs. Rough rugs, that are often meant for praying, are called Kilims. However, that doesn’t at all mean that Kilims are made exactly for praying. They can also serve as ornamental carpets for decorating the home.
Persian handmade carpets are famous all over the world. I can freely claim that Iran’s economy greatly depends on rug exports.
So, if you like to be distinguished from others and like to be special, create an Asian corner in your house.

Persian rugs have their own history and value. They give an antique and very expensive look to the decor. Most of the asian house adorn these type of carpets & they have a great demand in the west as well.
