Are you remodeling your child’s room?  Do you have problems with choosing wallpapers, area rugs and curtains? Well, I’ll do my best to help you.

Remember, no one knows your child better than you do. That is why before consulting with any shop assistant or designer, consult yourself. Think about your child’s taste, his/her favorite colors and adored cartoon characters. Can you imagine how happy your child will be to sleep and wake up with his/her beloved cartoon characters?

While decorating your boy’s room, you may be a little bit strict in the choice of colors. Light colored walls with plain curtains will do. You may choose light blue for the walls and a darker shade of blue for the curtains. Don’t think that it’ll be boring. We haven’t yet chosen an area rug.

I think that practically all boys are in love with the famous superhero Spiderman. You may purchase an area rug with Spiderman illustrated on it. To bring even more colors and happiness to the room I’d advise you to acquire a bedspread that will be in harmony with the carpet. In this case you need one with the Spiderman image.

Now let’s try to decorate your girl’s room. I have no doubt that your girl adores her Barbie dolls. You can make a real Barbie-style room for her. Choose pink colored walls for her. You may either paint it plain pink or acquire pink wallpaper. I myself would choose wallpaper, as in my opinion the latter looks better. After finishing with the walls, get some curtains and an area rug with her favorite Barbie pictures on them. In such a room, your baby girl will feel like a real Barbie.

The above-mentioned suggestions will surely please your children. However, before starting the job, consider your child’s opinion. Perhaps he/she wants to share his/her room with Winnie the Pooh or Tweety.
