Basics For Feng Shui Interior
Maximal comfort and harmony is what we expect to find at home.
There is a wide range of home interior ideas with modern and classic solutions, decorations and accessories. Each of them is appealing in its own way.
Feng Shui is one of these solutions.
Generally Feng Shui doesn’t impose any style frameworks or restrictions. It works specifically with the invisible–the “energosphere” of your house.
The principle of Feng Shui is the balance of energy and harmony of all the elements around you. This may be achieved with colors, decor and accessories.
Generally, there are three basic principles for a Feng shui home interior:
- Proper Placement with a Bagua
For a proper placement of things, you need to acquire a Bagua–an energy map. The Bagua will show you where and how to imply the home interior decor accessories and Feng Shui elements. It will divide your house into nine zones, each of them dedicated to one different element.
- Free Flow of Energy
For free flow of energy you need to round off the room corners with some piece of furniture. It would be good to have several pathways in your house so that the energy would have free spaces to move fluently. And, use home mirrors to control the energy direction. Don’t over-furnish your place, or you will simply confine the energy and restrict its essential free flow.
- Balance and Harmony
Balance and harmony are achieved in Feng Shui via special elements and accessories. Healthy plants in the rooms will serve both as fine decor and positive, healthy energy suppliers. Colors are also a great source of energy, so be careful with them. See what elements dominate in each part of the house and let the color of that element flourish there.
With these basics of Feng Shui interior design, you will successfully control your house chi and secure harmony and comfort in your living space.
